Last time, on "Survivor"
I haven't ever felt such delight in watching a social group self-destruct as I have in seeing the Morgan tribe lose every single challenge thus far. The group and the individuals within it routinely make dumb decisions and the voting strategy seems based more on personality conflicts and easy targets than on anything else. Not that the people who got voted out have done anything to safeguard their own places on the tribe -- they've all pretty much deserved the boot.
Meanwhile, Drake seems near invincible and Rupert gets my vote for biggest badass (and yet most likeable) Survivor contestant ever. The Survivor producers just love turnabout in their little show, so there's still time for Drake to learn some humility. However, it might also be interesting to see a team that decimates the opposition then turn inward and cannibalize itself in a blaze of self-consumptive glory. There's some indication that this is already starting to happen, with Drake members actually discussing the possibility of throwing a challenge just to be able to vote off their most annoying member, "Johnny Fairplay." I do love this duplicitous show.
