Slacking
OK, yes, I've been slacking off on the video log. Lots of other projects intrude, including the latest issue of B-Movies Quarterly. (Plug!)
Freddy vs Jason wasn't nearly as bad as I feared it might be. It's not half as inventive or shocking as Bride of Chucky, but it does have some rewarding moments. If you like to keep up on the state of the modern horror film, it's pretty much required watching. One character was a straight rip of Jay from the View Askew films. I whispered over to Scott, "Why didn't they just hire Jay Mewes?" and Scott answered, "Heroin rehab."
