Stomp Tokyo Video Reviews
About This Guide

This guide is a work in progress. It is not, nor will it likely ever be, a complete listing of all the video stores in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area. Instead, it is a general tour of the local stores we have come to know. We will be visiting more stores to expand the guide, but listings for the stores in our immediate vicinity (the city of St. Petersburg, FL) will outnumber those for stores in outlying areas until we have time to get out to the stores further away.

If you are a store owner/manager or local resident who would like us to visit a particular store, or have found incorrect information, please feel free to send us mail. All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge, but you should call the store to confirm information, as it could change without notice. It is unlikely that editorial comments (like "This store is great!" or "This store sucks!") will change unless the store itself changes.

Keep in mind that our focus is on fringe and foreign videos; stores that cater to that focus will obviously get better reviews than stores that stick with new releases and top-renting videos. However, if a store has a particular problem or is particularly good about stocking the more popular videos, we'll mention that too.

A glossary is available if you don't recognize some of the terms that we use.

Keep in mind that the guide is but a small part of the Stomp Tokyo Video Reviews web site -- don't forget to visit the main site for humorous reviews of all kinds of films on video! You can get to the main site at any time by clicking the blue bar at the top of the screen. Enjoy!
